Part of a Virtual Assistant’s job is to create correspondence and spreadsheets.  Nice to know that some of my job is done for me!

We all have thought at one time or another that we could use an template from Word or Excel for office supply lists, financial spreadsheets, time management - (A little nitpicky for me – I do not want to have to write down to brush my teeth, but whatever works – this is a starter for some of us!!), project performance and many others – How about a wedding planner?  Or a Baby shower planner?  

You could search the web and do what I did – Google “Free templates” – or you could follow this link.

In Microsoft Office Online, you can order new software, get help and how to advice, and download clip art and templates. 

The templates are what I was searching for, I had a client who did not want to use QuickBooks, who needed to get templates for his financial statements.  I ended up sending him the template for a Balance Sheet,  Personal Financial Statement, Statement of Cash Flows, and some others that he needed.   While the ones that I hyperlinked on this page may not be for you, I suggest you go and check out the site at the link above and cruise through it.  there are personal, household and business templates there that are free, good and have been sent in by a large community who check each new template and rate them. 

This is a site I access at least weekly, since I am always doing one project or another and the majority of these templates are easy to use.

Just one more note – A lot of Excel spreadsheets have the capacity to slow your computer.  I have all mine on a thumb drive.
